As our new Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for addressing a diverse and challenging range of problems to help us make better business decisions at Oxylabs. You will work with multiple teams internally (product, marketing, customer success, sales) in order to support their growth, to provide business trend analysis and actionable insights. We expect you to take ownership of the topics you tackle and be proactive in your approach, and influence our senior stakeholders by thinking commercially, being impact-focused, and communicating effectively.
Our tech stack:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCS, BigQuery) for storage and warehousing.
- SQL for data modeling.
- Python for automation.
- PowerBI/Grafana for data visualization.
- Airflow for orchestration.
- Any tool you like for ad-hoc analysis.
We do not expect candidates to master or know all of these technologies today.
Your day-to-day:
- Create well-defined hypotheses and analyze customers’ tendencies to improve our understanding of the relationships between the behavior of our customers and our growth drivers and find improvement opportunities.
- Design and develop data transformations to create effective data models.
- Use analytical tools (SQL, Excel) to analyze and prepare data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with business users to determine business needs and how to meet them.
- Groom business requirements and develop ETL/ELT processes.
- Carry out ad-hoc analysis related to stakeholder questions with a strong commercial focus and translate results into a compelling narrative.
Your skills & experience:
- 4+ years experience in an analytical / data developer role.
- Experience working with SQL to retrieve, transform, combine and analyze data.
- Experience developing dashboards with Power BI (or other similar tools, such as Looker, Tableau, Qlik, Grafana).
- Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets where some of your exploratory analysis will take place.
- You have the ability to creatively approach difficult questions, and come up with relevant proxy questions when direct analysis is unavailable.
- Not being afraid of grooming tasks on your own or together with a team, asking thoughtful questions.
- Experience automating processes or connecting to APIs with Python is a huge plus.
- You enjoy new challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
- Gross salary: 2975 – 4960 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competences.
