As B2B tech Sales Development Representatives, we discover and outreach potential clients, and then pass them on to our Account Executives to close the deal. In our daily work, there's a lot of testing and experimenting to find new, better ways to expand our client base.
In my team, each SDR is selling multiple Oxylabs solutions to clients, but we also have projects and initiatives where you're assigned a focus area. I think this gives us a great balance between enjoying dynamic work and deepening our knowledge in a particular field.
And to make our work more effective, we use a variety of tools that help us automate our tasks, as well as data-driven sales methodologies.
Our client base is diverse, ranging from cyber security to e-commerce companies. What's also really exciting is that you get to sell our products to the world's largest businesses — think of international e-commerce brands, for example. So, definitely, this environment fuels you to become an ambitious, well-rounded sales professional.
The web data gathering industry is dynamic, and the solutions we sell to our clients are advanced and quite complex, which makes Oxylabs a place where you're learning a lot of new information — and, in turn, growing as a professional very rapidly.
Our industry and clients definitely bring challenges, but there are also a lot of internal resources and support from your team to overcome them and grow. Our approach to sharing knowledge is very hands-on: we have daily stand-ups where we discuss challenges, wins, best practices, and help each other solve problems fast.
To learn more about our clients and their industries, we also travel to conferences around the globe.

Here are a couple of career stories as an example. One of our teammates started as a Lead Research Specialist, worked their way into an SDR role, and then, with determination and time, became an Account Executive. They wanted to focus on building relationships with clients and had the needed skill set for this position, so we encouraged that.
Another teammate discovered a passion for the analytical side of sales and progressed from an SDR into the role of a Sales Operations Specialist. So, we help people focus on their strengths, which eventually lead them to new opportunities inside Oxylabs.

I'd say we share the mindset of striving to be the best at what we do as individuals, as well as challenging and motivating each other to aim high and achieve big wins as a team.
And as a Team Lead, I'm focusing on providing clear structure to my teammates about their daily tasks and long-term goals. Also, identifying problems and providing resources to solve them is a crucial part of my job too.
