As account managers here, we work with existing clients: manage relationships, solve problems, upsell, cross-sell, and provide additional value through initiatives like stakeholder mapping, strategic account plans, and more.
Alongside our daily tasks, we have client-related side projects that encourage us to deepen our product knowledge and develop project management, marketing, or other skills. All of this helps us grow as well-rounded professionals.
Well, first of all, there's a lot to keep up with: we have a variety of products; the web data gathering industry is really dynamic; and our clients operate in different industries, from e-commerce to cyber security. But you're surrounded by people who are happy to share their knowledge, which makes learning much easier.
It's also really exciting that we get to work with the world’s best known companies and travel to various countries in Europe, Asia, and the USA to meet our clients face-to-face and strengthen our relationships.
What's more, you get a lot of ownership of your tasks and decisions and can see how your work makes a direct impact on the company since our team is the main revenue driver. Which really motivates you to keep growing as an Account Manager!
I can start by sharing about the way we work together in my team. What we have in common is strong ownership of everything we do, as well as a positive outlook on various challenges we encounter. When there's a problem, you won't be alone — we support each other like real team players do and find solutions together.
It's not only individual work in our role — we have collaborative quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) projects with other teammates, teams, and departments. Such collaborations enrich you as a professional because people here are happy to share their knowledge and help you reach your goals.
Also, we know how to celebrate achievements — we gather at awards events to recognize our hard work and success, as well as just enjoy time together.
