As Python developers, what kind of solutions are you building?
We build advanced web scraping solutions (Scraper APIs) for large-scale public Internet data gathering. Our Scraper APIs have impressive capabilities of serving billions of requests, and we maintain our own infrastructure that processes petabytes of data.
Our solutions are leading the web data gathering industry, and the biggest companies use our products, so the standards are very high: our Scraper APIs have to be extremely reliable and available 24/7.
And we’re continuously upgrading our solutions for greater scale and speed with a big focus on innovation and building patented technologies. With all of that in mind, there are plenty of challenges that keep your mind sharp.

All of our tech stack is open source, we keep upgrading it to the latest versions when possible, and we’re open to experimenting and adding new tools that can enhance our developer experience and the solutions we build.
What helps you overcome challenges here?
Obviously, you have to be curious and determined yourself. But whenever you come across a serious challenge, you’re surrounded by extremely smart and supportive people. You can turn to our large engineering community for advice on any problem, and they’ll be more than happy to share their knowledge.
Another thing I really enjoy is the culture of ownership. On one hand, it means you have a lot of trust and freedom to decide your way to find solutions and get results. On the other hand, everyone here shares a big sense of responsibility for the quality of their work — people own it and then deliver it.
So, yes — there are challenges. Some days, you win, some days, you lose, but you bounce back quickly with the support of your team. The challenges are worth it when you see that you’re building powerful technologies that make you proud as a developer.
Any words of encouragement for Python developers who want to join us?
